Hi !
We have just concluded our 109th Annual Art show. What a wonderful turn-out again ! Thank you to all who stopped in to view our diverse work, chat with the artists, and to those who bought a piece or two for their homes. It is a popular event in our city.
I am pleased to announce that 2 of my new series " Friends" sold. it's always a bit of a risk to " push the envelope" a little but I am happy that my quirky nature is appreciated sometimes :) Thank you to the purchasers. I hope you enjoy them for many years to come as much as I enjoyed creating them.
Looking forward to next year and all the exciting work to be presented again. See you then !
You'll note that I have not been to my website for a long while. This ....forced....hiatus for the past16 months has been due medical concerns. However, I am confident that all of this is now behind me and I can again focus my attention on bringing you my unique take on the world, expressed through my art. I'm b-a-a-a-ck ! :)
Thank you for your patience.
I am pleased to announce that on Sat. 24 October, 2015, I have been juried into the
Federation of Canadian Artiists-Active Status. Now I can apply to exhibit in local and national shows
with them. It is a goal I have hoped to attain for the past year or two. So, check that off my bucket list !
Next ? :)
I am thrilled to announce that one of my works has been chosen by a 3-person panel of National and International jurors to exhibit in this years Sidney Fine Arts Show.
This show is attended by approximately 6,000people. Each year, up to 1250 works are submitted to the jury process, and approximately 400 pieces are chosen.
I am honoured to be showing one of my paintings at this significant exhibit and among such accomplished artists.

Thank you to all who came out to the Scattered Artists Tour, in Saanich on the Victoria day weekend, and visiting my booth in the lovely garden. it was a beautiful weekend to browse among great art. Thank you to those who purchased local art to beautify their homes.
Last night I attended the First Annual "Art Victoria Now" Juried Fine Arts Exhibit Opening, put on by the Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria. I was so fortunate to have my piece "Passages #11 " juried in from 680 entries. There are 68 works total exhibited there until 5:00 Sunday May 10th. It was held at the beautiful Atrium Building on the corner of Yates and Blanchard.
The Opening was very well attended, with live music, cash bar, and goodies amongst wonderful art. it was so lovely to see friends, and meet new people. CACGV has done a wonderful job of their first juried Fine Arts Exhibit.
I do hope you can take it in today or this weekend.
